NATFLY allows everyone an opportunity to get a broad view of our form of recreational aviation. This is our annual four-day Easter get-together.

The event will be staged at Temora aerodrome, New South Wales,
from Thursday April 21 to Sunday April 24 inclusive.

The national fly-in provides a venue for aircraft manufacturers and importers to introduce new and forthcoming aircraft, and for other recreational aviation related companies to demonstrate and sell their products; e.g. the latest and greatest avionics, pilot supplies and insurance.

NATFLY also allows the opportunity for home-builders to display their finished projects and, perhaps, win one of the achievement awards.

NATFLY is also our MAJOR member event for those who want to meet old friends, make new ones and chat about flying. It also the best opportunity for members to attend forums covering an enormous range of topics on both operational and technical issues; not to mention forums for those with interests in other areas.

Non-aviation activities

Night activities

Trophies & Achievement awards

The roving judges will be roving the flight line, inspecting your aircraft.

To qualify for awards the following numbered criteria are a must. It’s also important that the aircraft meets airworthiness requirements with the emphasis on safety at all times.

  1. A current aircraft registration card must be clearly visible from outside (and must comply with Tech AWB 010310-1).
  2. Clean and tidy aircraft for presentation.
  3. A completed RED NATFLY propeller cover must be displayed on propeller, or clearly elsewhere if weather does not permit it to be outside.
  4. Please contact RA-Aus Temora HQ upon arrival to register your interest in being judged and provide your mobile number so our judges can contact you if necessary to arrange inspection.

Thank you and good luck from your roving judges, and let’s celebrate aviation!

Please see Trophy List & information for further details of individual trophies.
