TRAINING AREA NOTES:

The training area is outside all controlled airspace, making for uninterrupted training. Two runways provide crosswind training and suitable training area/s for general flying.

The CFI is an ex-air force pilot with over 7000 hours experience. Well established school, operating since 2002, and just taken delivery of a new aircraft.




ACCOMMODATION & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:

The airport is situated within 5 minutes of Innisfail CBD with various levels of accommodation and services to suit all budgets. Only 60 minutes south of Cairns and 3 hours north of Townsville.

DISTRICT ATTRACTIONS

. Within 15 minutes drive to scenic beaches, and only a short flight to Dunk Island. Situated right in the middle of FNQ's tropical north with numerous rivers and tourist attractions.
