Viewers can access a location list
(extracted from the RA-Aus data base as a PDF document) with CFI names and
telephone contacts, for the 174 RA-Aus approved Flight Training Facilities with their home location and possibly other sites from which they operate – the latter usually on a part-time basis.
Included above are seven FTFs operating under the jurisdiction of the CFI of another school. Such FTFs are listed below as the satellite of a named school. When, or if, such FTFs develop their own dedicated chief flying instructor they would no longer be classed as satellite operations.
(We use the Flight Training Facility term to legally distinguish RA-Aus approved flight schools from those general aviation Flying Schools issued with a CASA Air Operator's Certificate. Some CASA Flying Schools also operate as RA-Aus approved Flight Training Facilities and will appear in the following list.)
